The Green Green Clothes of Green

thebopkids and I were in attendance for the Double G and the Traitorous 3 gig at Brixton Windmill last night.
Support act Mr. Hudson and the Library reminded me a bit of Sting and his Police with some very Sumner-like vocal stylings from the so-called Mr. Hudson. Some nice steel drumming in the rhythm section but overall needed more tunes.
For indentification purposes, Green was decked out in a green hoodie and Green Flash trainers with green laces. He started singing and my immediate thought was "Wow! It's really him!". They played an ace set of punk, pop and hip-hop tunes including a fantastic cover of Jeru the Damaja's Come Clean. No Cupid & Psyche material though (and I wasn't drunk enough to shout for any). I left the venue a happy old man with those ooohs still echoing in my head.
